Capitalism and communism are opposites. Communism is where the government controls everything and divides out the earnings “equally.” But this never usually happens in communist nations. There is always someone who wants to keep everything to him or herself. For example, Venezuela was once a prosperous country because of the vast amount of oil they had, but now barely anyone can afford a roll of toilet paper. But capitalism is when the people own the businesses not the government.
